By the grace of God, Saint Mina’s Coptic Orthodox Church is celebrating 25 years of service in Hamilton, Ontario since 1992. A special event to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of the Church will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 5pm to 9m at Michaelangelo Conference Centre (1555 Upper Ottawa Street, Hamilton, Ontario). Details of the event will be announced soon.
In preparation for this joyful event, the church is working on preparing a special book that details all the service aspects of the church in the past 25 years. Part of this book will be dedicated for those were baptized, engaged, wedded, ordained as deacon, or graduated from a post-secondary degree (including graduate degrees) in our beloved church. This include both old and new locations of Saint Mina’s Coptic Orthodox Church. The church seeks your collaboration in collecting this data by reaching out to Fr. Metias or sending relevant information and pictures to info@stminahamilton.ca
During the next few months, the church will hold few main gatherings in preparation for the main event:

The first of such gatherings will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017 after the holy liturgy (around 11am). The idea is to have a group picture for all those who were baptized, engaged, or wedded in our beloved church. If you are one of them, or know one of them, please make sure to be there in time. It is suggested that everyone wears white tops and black bottoms to give a spirit of unity to the group picture.

The second gathering will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017 after the holy liturgy (around 11am). A group picture will be taken for all servants (including deacons, Sunday school, kitchen, reception, maintenance and cleaning, holy bread “korban”, audio/book store) in our beloved church and also for all those who were baptized, engaged, or wedded who missed the first gathering. If you are one of them, or know one of them, please make sure to be there in time. It is suggested that everyone wears white tops and black bottoms to give a spirit of unity to the group picture.
