We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved father and dear shepherd, His Holiness Pope Shenouda III. In honour of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III, the Coptic Priests in Southwestern Ontario agreed to hold a funeral service on Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the church of Virgin Mary & St. Athanasius, located at 1245 Eglinton Avenue West, Mississauga. We are extending invitations to all members of the Coptic community, local and federal politicians and members of the public at large who would like to express their condolences to our community.
We ask the Lord to repose the soul of His fervent servant, our beloved Pope Shenouda III, in the bosom of our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Dear Beloved Pope Shenouda,
We love you dearly… We have lost a true Father on earth but in return we have gained a Saint in heaven. We ask for your prayers in front of the Lord of hosts and we are certain that we will meet in due time.
