Every year, on a Friday in August around 7:30 a.m., bus loads of Junior High students ( grades 7 & 8 ) from Coptic Orthodox Churches in and around Southern Ontario arrive at the entrance of the college where the convention is held. The Students love to spend time away from their parents with their friends during the three days. Come enjoy divine liturgies, very entertaining skits, activities, games, discussions, crafts, deliciously prepared meals, sports, songs, candy, treats, prizes, talent shows, and a huge awards ceremony where tons of trophies, medals, plaques, and certificates are handed out to all participants who excelled in the various activities. Everyone leaves the convention with a sense of accomplishment, thanking God for the Christian fellowship. All students who completed grade 7 and grade 8 in June 2011 are invited!
