Schedule for the Feast of Pope Kyrillos VI 2019

In celebration of the 48th Feast of Departure of the Saint Pope Kyrillos VI (116th Pope of Alexandria), under the auspices of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II and his partner in the apostolic liturgy His Grace Bishop Mina and the presence of the Reverend Fathers the priests of the region, Saint Mina’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Hamilton would like to invite you to a spiritual celebration according to the following schedule:

Wednesday, March 6, 2019:

  • 9:00am to 12:00pm: Holy Liturgy
  • 7:30pm to 9:00pm: Vespers, Sermon and Glorification in the presence of Hegumen Antonios Baki (San Francisco, California, USA)

Thursday, March 7, 2019:

  • 7:30pm to 9:00pm: Vespers, Sermon and Glorification in the presence of Hegumen Antonios Baki (San Francisco, California, USA)

Friday, March 8, 2019:

  • 9:00am to 12:00pm: Holy Liturgy
  • 7:30pm to 9:30pm: Vespers, Sermon and Glorification for the Departure of Pope Kyrillos VI in the presence of Hegumen Antonios Baki (San Francisco, California, USA) and the priests of the region followed by aghape meal for everyone

Saturday, March 9, 2019:

  • 7:00am to 9:00am: Holy Liturgy for the Departure of Pope Kyrillos VI followed by aghape meal for everyone

Along side this spiritual revival, the church bookstore will hold a dedicated book sale that will include various books in English and Arabic about Saint Mina the Wonder-Worker and Saint Pope Kyrillos the 6th, as well as books of His Grace Bishop Youannes the late bishop of Gharbeya (Egypt) and His Grace Bishop Epiphanios the late bishop of St. Makarios Monastery (Egypt). The bookstore also offers great discounts for various books in different fields, pictures, and gifts.
