The Church offers her deepest condolences to the family of Mrs. Afaf Sabet Nashed who departed to the Lord in the hope of the resurrestion on Wednesday, December 18th, 2019 in Egypt.
Mrs. Afaf is the wife of Mr. Nabil Samuel Gendy. She is the mother of Eng. George Gendy (husband of Mrs. Ereny Wadie) and Dr. Marie Gendy (wife of Dr. Sameh Saad); and the grandmother of Daniel and David Gendy and Anastasia Saad. She is the sister of late Dr. Atef, Mrs. Thérèse, Mrs. Awatef and Mr. Nashed.
The Church Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 20th, 2019 in Egypt. The family will accept condolences in Canada at a later time.
May our Lord Jesus Christ repose her soul in the paradise of joy and grant comfort to all the family in Egypt and Canada.
Update: The family will accept condolences in Canada on Sunday, December 29th, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at Saint Mina’s Coptic Orthodox Church (1562 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, ON L8W 3P1).

رقدت في الرب على رجاء القيامة الاستاذه عفاف ثابت ناشد في يوم الاربعاء الموافق ١٨ ديسمبر ٢٠١٩م.
مدام عفاف زوجه الاستاذ نبيل صموئيل جندى و والده كل من المهندس جورج جندى (زوج الاستاذه ايرينى وديع) و الدكتوره مارى جندى (زوجه الدكتور سامح سعد)، و جده كل من دانيال و ديفيد جندى و اناستاسيا سعد. و أخت كل من المرحوم الدكتور عاطف و الاستاذه تريزا و الاستاذه عواطف و الاستاذ ناشد.
و سوف تقام صلاة الجناز يوم الجمعة الموافق ٢٠ ديسمبر ٢٠١٩ فى مصر. و سوف تستقبل الاسرة العزاء فى كندا فى وقت لاحق.
ربنا يسوع المسيح ينيح نفسها في فردوس النعيم و يهب عزاءًا لكل العائلة فى مصر و كندا.
