Fr. Metias, the church board, the deacons, the servants, and all the congregation of St. Mina Church in Hamilton offer their deepest condolences for the departure of the beloved Mr. Magdy Gorgy asking the Lord to repose his soul in the paradise of joy.
Mr. Magdy Gorgy is the husband of Mrs. Mona Mikhael; the father of Dr. Kareem Hanna (husband of Dr. Youanna Hanna) and Dr. Meret Hanna (wife of Dr. Mina Baky); the grandfather of Chris Baky and Gabriella Baky, and the brother in law of Dr. Manal Roman (wife of Dr. Nader Roman) in Winnipeg.
The funeral service was held on April 20th, 2023 at St. Mary and St. George’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Tanta, Egypt.
The family will be accepting condolences at St. Mina’s Coptic Orthodox church (1562 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W 3P1) on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 from 7:00-9:00pm and on Sunday, May 28th at the 40th day memorial Liturgy from 8-11:00am.
