My beloved brothers and children in the Lord, the deacons, the servants and the congregation of our church,
I congratulate you with all my heart for the Holy Feast of the Glorious Cross, wishing you all blessing, grace, and peace.
I prayed the holy liturgy this morning with a very limited number of deacons and I was deeply touched by the fact that you did not attend with us due to the exceptional circumstances that we live in these days and which I did not go through in my entire life. Every time I turn to the nave of the church to sign the congregation with the sign of the cross, I felt deeply saddened.
You are always in my heart and I am proud to serve you. As a priest (intercessor), my main work is the intercession before God for your sake and without you, I have no value at all. It has been a very difficult day in my life and I do not imagine how I will pray the rest of the holy liturgies in this period without you.
But perhaps this was with the permission of God, the all-wise, who wanted to give us an opportunity to truly repent and return to God with all our hearts and know the value of the church, God’s house, in our lives and the necessity of the sacrifice “the body and the blood of the Lord” for our salvation and eternity.
Perhaps God wants to encourage us to truly pray in these days, during which we were extremely busy in many matters other than God, or we were just praying as a formality in our lives away from God’s purpose.
Forgive me that I took this direction, but I truly believe that this is God’s will from this intense experience.
Please pray fervently with all your hearts and entreat God that He may have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, take away His anger from us, abolish this epidemic from the whole world, and fill our hearts with joy and peace.
We pray for your intercession O Mother of Light, Virgin Mary, so that our Lord Jesus Christ, your beloved son and your God, may open the doors of the churches before all the faithful.
The Lord is with you, protect you and take care of you.

اخوتي وابنائي المحبوبين في الرب
شمامسة وخدام وشعب كنيستنا المباركين
اهنئكم من كل قلبي بعيد الصليب المجيد راجيًا لكم جميعًا كل بركة ونعمة وسلام
لقد صليت القداس اليوم مع عدد محدود جدا من الشمامسة وكنت متأثرا في أعماقي لعدم حضوركم معنا نظرا للظروف الاستثنائية التي نعيشها هذه الأيام والتي لم امر بها في حياتي كلها وفي كل مرة انظر الي صحن الكنيسة لرشم الشعب كما اعتدنا كنت احزن في داخلي
فأنتم في قلبي دايما واعتز بخدمتكم ، انا ككاهن عملي هو الشفاعة أمام الله لأجلكم وبدونكم ليس لي قيمة علي الإطلاق لذلك كان يوما صعبا جدا في حياتي ولا أتصور كيف سأصلي باقي القداسات في هذه الفترة بدونكم
ولكن لعل هذا كان بسماح من الله كلي الحكمة الذي أراد ان يعطينا فرصة لكي نتوب توبة حقيقية ونرجع الي الله من كل قلوبنا ونعرف قيمة الكنيسة بيت الله في حياتنا وضرورة الذبيحة ” جسد الرب ودمه ” لخلاصنا وابديتنا
لعل الله أراد ان يشجعنا علي الصلاة الحقيقة في هذه الأيام التي فيها انشغلنا جدا في أمور كثيرة غير الله ، او الصلاة أخذت وضع شكلي في حياتنا بعيدا عن قصد الله .
سامحوني انني أخذت هذا الاتجاه لكن صدقوني ان هذه هي إرادة الله من هذه التجربة الشديدة .
من فضلكم صلوا كثيرا من كل قلوبكم وتضرعوا أمام الله لعله يرحمنا ويغفر لنا خطايانا ويرفع غضبه عنا ويزيل هذا الوباء عن العالم كله ويملا قلوبنا فرحًا وسلاما .
شفاعتك يا ام النور مريم لكي يفتح الرب يسوع ابنك الحبيب والهك أبواب الكنائس أمام كل المؤمنين .
