Message from H.G. Bishop Mina – March 2020

In the Name of The Father and The Son and The Holy Spirit One God Amin.

Dear beloved Fathers and beloved congregations,

Let us give thanks to God in everything, concerning everything, and for everything.

Let us pray from the bottom of our hearts, asking God to allow the Holy Sacrifice to be offered daily on the altar of each and every one of our churches.

This is the time when heaven is open, to ask us what we want.

Let us ask God to keep the doors of His church open at all times, for us all.

Let us be positive during this difficult and uncertain time, and benefit from it by strengthening our spiritual lives.

Let us encourage our congregations and ourselves, to spend our time at home, in prayer, reading the Bible, and praising God.

Let us not lose our faithful conviction that God is, now and forever, in control of everything, including the coronavirus.

We need to understand for certain that: fear and doubting our loving God are the worst things that Satan wants to enroot in us, to ruin our lives.

Let us encourage each other to repent, and to live a life of repentance.

Let us encourage each other to forget our disputes and our hatred: it is time to reconcile with God, with ourselves, and with others.

Let us encourage ourselves and our congregations to follow all healthy precautions to protect ourselves, and to keep ourselves, our loved ones, and our community safe.

Let us ask our beloved Almighty God, to shorten this period and allow us to joyfully celebrate His Holy Resurrection.

باسم الأب والابن والروح القدس الله واحد أمين.

آبائي الكهنة الاحباء، ابنائي وبناتي الاحباء في أبرشية مسيساجا وفانكوفر وغرب كندا.

دعونا نعطي الشكر لله على كل حال وفي كل حال وفي سائر الأحوال.

دعونا يا أحبائي ان نصلي من اعماق قلوبنا متضرعين إلى الله ان يسمح دائما بوجود ذبيحة جسده ودمه الاقدسين مقدمة يوميا على مذابح كل كنائسنا، لانه هذا هو الوقت الذي تكون فيه السماء مفتوحة لقبول صلواتنا وطلباتنا، سائلين الله ان تستمر أبواب الكنائس مفتوحة لنا جميعا في كل الأوقات.

دعونا يا أحبائي ان نكون إيجابيين في هذا الوقت العصيب والذي تكثر فيه الشكوك مستثمرين هذا الوقت في تهذيب وتقوية حياتنا الروحية مع الله.

دعونا نشجع أنفسنا وشعبنا لقضاء وقت اطول مع الله في بيوتنا للصلاة وقراءة الإنجيل والتسبيح.

دعونا لا نفقد ايماننا بان كل الأمور هي تحت سيطرة الله له كل المجد دائما وأبدا بما فيها هذا الوباء المدعو كورونا.

نحن في احتياج شديد لان نفهم بان الخوف والشك في الهنا الحبيب هما أسوأ ما يمكن للشيطان ان يزرعهما في أنفسنا بهدف تدمير حياتنا.

دعونا نشجع بعضنا بعضًا على ان نعيش حياة التوبة الحقيقة وان نطرح مشاكلنا مع بعضنا البعض جانبًا وان نبتعد عن الكراهية وان نتصالح مع الله ومع أنفسنا ومع الآخرين.

ليتنا يا أحبائي نشجع أنفسنا وشعبنا على اتباع وسائل الوقاية الصحية الموضوعة لحمايتنا وان نجعل من أنفسنا وأحبائنا مجتمعًا امنا من هذا الوباء.

دعونا يا أحبائي ان نتضرع إلى الهنا القدير ان يقصر هذه الأيام العصيبة وان يفرحنا بالاحتفال بقيامته المجيدة.

له المجد دائما في كنيسته إلى الأبد.
