We are pleased to announce that Archdeacon and Cantor Ibrahim Ayad will be visiting our church (St. Mina’s Coptic Orthodox Church – 1562 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W 3P1) on Friday, August 28th God willing. Archdeacon and Cantor Ibrahim Ayad is the lead Cantor of St. Mark’s Cathedral in Cairo and he has served with the late Pope Kyrillos VI, the late Pope Shenouda III and His Holiness Pope Tawadros II.
He will be spending Friday evening (August 28) with us. The program will be as follows:
- 6:15 – 7:00pm: Hymn and Rites Teaching
- 8:00 – 10:00pm: Midnight Praises (Coptic / English)
Everyone is welcome to attend and benefit from this exciting oppurtuinity to meet Cantor Ibrahim Ayad, learn a new hymn and praise God together.
